Mighty Mystic is heralded as one of the leading figures in the U.S. reggae scene, renowned for his prolific output and fierce commitment to his craft. Since bursting onto the scene in 2006 with his international hit “Riding on the Clouds,” he has continued to wake up the world with his high-energy, message-driven style of reggae—an inspiring blend he calls HARD ROOTS. His debut album, Wake up the World (2010), solidified his status with standout tracks like “Revolution,” “Original Love,” and “Slipped Away,” featuring collaborations with reggae legend Shaggy and roots rocker Lutan Fyah. Beyond his musical achievements, Mighty Mystic is also known as the younger brother of Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness, exemplifying his focus on his own unique mission.
Supporting him is Royal Hammer, a dynamic seven-piece roots reggae group from Portland, Maine. Influenced by legends like Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown, and Roots Radics, Royal Hammer prides itself on authentic, deep grooves that keep the crowd moving. Their lineup features talented musicians such as Michael Taylor (Rustic Overtones), Gary Gemetti (Rustic Overtones), Tyler Quist (Jaw Gems), Stu Mahan (Nat Osbourne Band), Ryan Zoidis (Rustic Overtones, Soulive), Lucas Desmond (Model Airplane), and Jamie Bifulco (trombone). Having shared stages with reggae icons like Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Barrington Levy, Marty Dread, and Glen DaCosta, Royal Hammer’s debut album, My Bubble, showcases their rich, infectious sound.
