Mezzotono – A Cappella Concert takes place on Sunday, 6 September 2026 at 4:00 pm at Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Verbrugghen Hall, 1 Conservatorium Road, Sydney, NSW 2000. Presented by Istituto Italiano di Cultura, the concert features Mezzotono, a five-voice Italian vocal ensemble performing without instruments.
The group creates the sound of an entire orchestra using only their voices, with a repertoire that includes jazz, pop, classical music, Italian folk traditions, and international favourites. The performance combines vocal harmonies, humour, and theatrical elements, and the ensemble has performed in more than 70 countries across five continents.
Mezzotono has appeared at venues and festivals including the London Jazz Festival, Dubai Jazz Festival, and Cairo Opera House, alongside international tours throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The concert is at Sydney Conservatorium of Music - Verbrugghen Hall in Sydney.
