About This Event
MEMBA performs at Public Works in San Francisco on Saturday, June 13, from 9:30pm to 2am. The event takes place in the Main Room and is 21+ with limited capacity.
Brooklyn duo MEMBA are known for blending ancient global rhythms with future bass and trap. The project is led by Ishaan Chaudhary and Will Curry, who began making music together in 2014 after meeting on an archaeological dig in India. Their sound draws on Chaudhary’s Bollywood and Sufi roots and Curry’s background in percussion.
The lineup also includes YANNI and day astro b2b pxlwlkr. MEMBA have released music on ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective, Monstercat, and 88rising, and their track “For Aisha” charted globally after appearing in a Bollywood film that premiered at TIFF. Their latest album, ABOVEGROUND*, was released in late 2025.
