Many Voices is an international music and encounter format by Jocelyn B. Smith. The concept places the voice at the center, as a form of expression, a bridge between people, and a starting point for personal and social change. It is presented as two connected events for different audiences: ChoirPLUS for singers and ConcertPLUS for the audience.
Jocelyn B. Smith was born in New York in 1960 and is classically trained. She has performed in more than 3,000 concerts, released over 20 CDs on her Blondell Music label, and works as a voice teacher and workshop leader. Her background also includes singing “Amazing Grace” for 200,000 people at the Brandenburg Gate during the 9/11 memorial.
She received the Federal Cross of Merit in 2018, the Order of Merit in 2020, and the Beethoven Prize in 2023 for human rights, poverty reduction, and diversity.
