Manchester International Roots Orchestra (MIRO) is a unique ensemble of musicians with roots from across the world, including refugee musicians. The group’s live shows feature a wide range of musical influences, including Eastern Europe Roma, Kurdish, Egyptian, Iranian and Indian music.
The performance also includes elements of Middle Eastern percussion and vocals, Sufi chants from South Asia, African gospel, rap, hip-hop, classical music and jazz.
