Man/Woman/Chainsaw are a London-based six-piece formed by two school friends who started making music together at age 14. Their sound has been described as moving between noise and beauty, and they have become part of London’s art rock scene.
At the end of 2025, the band announced a signing to Fiction Records, home to acts including The Cure, St. Vincent, The Horrors and Billie Marten. That announcement followed the release of Only Girl, recorded at RAK Studios with producer Seth Evans and Margo Broom. They had previously worked with Margo Broom on Adam & Steve.
By early 2026, the band had more music due in the near future and had drawn attention from The Quietus, Guardian, NME, The Line Of Best Fit, DIY, So Young, Stereogum, The Fader and BBC 6 Music.
