Mahogany (plus Paid By Cash and Adele Dazeem)

Mahogany takes place at Cafe Blah, 445 Wilmslow Road, Withington, M20 4AN, on 27 September 2026 at 7:30 PM. The bill also includes Paid By Cash and Adele Dazeem.

Mahogany features Andrew Prinz and Jaclyn Slimm, combining vocals, twin 12-string guitars, bass, sequenced rhythms, synthesis, sampling and generative projections in a format they call the “Hypercube.” Their sound blends post-punk, shoegaze, disco and classical elements into architectural, symphonic compositions.

Paid By Cash are a six-piece group mixing alternative rock with shoegaze and post-punk, with layered melodies, harmonies and dynamic shifts. Adele Dazeem are an east London band formed in 2020 by Charlie Hearl, Philippe O’Connor and Frank Andrews. Their music has been played on Radio 6 and Radio X, and they released the tracks “Misère” and “Deep Sea Hand” on Sonic Cathedral as part of their debut EP, Metanoia.
