About This Event
MAGGIO in Musica 2026 closes its seventh edition with the final concert of the series at Chiesa Parrocchiale di Santa Maria del Buon Consiglio in Milano, at 10 Via Ercole Ricotti. The event takes place on 30 May 2026 at 9:00 PM and is free to attend.
The concert was created to showcase the parish church’s pipe organ at Prepositurale S. Maria del Buon Consiglio alla Bovisa. This final 2026 appointment is presented as a concerto-meditazione and features several performers, including Coro della Fondazione Milano per la Scala, Nautilus Consort, Elena Bacchini, Daniela Colangelo, Federica Furlanetto, Maria Notarianni, Margherita Tomasi, Giuditta Ferioli, Diego Bagnoli, and Claudio Cardani.
The program includes works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Franz Tunder, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, César Franck, William Lawes, Franz Liszt, and Dietrich Buxtehude. Listed pieces include Wer nur den lieben Gott lässt walten, Ach Herr, lass deine liebe Engelein, Sicut cervus, Pastorale op. 19, Jesu meine Freude, Fantazia, Aire, Paven, Aire, Jesu rex admirabilis, Präludium und Fuge über den Namen B.A.C.H., Super flumina Babylonis, Ad cor, and An Wasserflüssen Babylon.
