About This Event
Lucha Sonidera is a June series created by Cultiva + Cumbia at North Beach Pizza in Berkeley. The event combines lucha libre inspiration with sonidero music and Latin rhythms, with different DJs facing off in themed nights throughout the month.
Each event features DJ selections across cumbia, bachata, salsa, and timba, along with social dancing. The series is inspired by the colors, intensity, and popular culture of Mexican lucha libre, and is presented as a space to dance, connect, and celebrate Latin music in the Bay Area.
