Lila Iké, born Alecia Tameka Grey in Christiana, Jamaica, has built a career as a modern reggae artist with music shaped by gospel, roots reggae, soul, and ’90s dancehall. Her early work with Protoje and the In.Digg.Nation Collective helped launch her from open mic nights at Jamnesia to international stages.
Her breakthrough tracks include “Biggest Fan,” “Second Chance,” and “Where I’m Coming From.” Her 2020 debut EP, The ExPerience, received attention from Rolling Stone, Vogue, NPR, and The New York Times. She has also appeared on NPR’s Tiny Desk and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert alongside Protoje, and has toured and performed across Europe, North America, and the Caribbean.
