Let's Play The Piano Leeds - June Event (Players/Audience Welcome) takes place at Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall at the University of Leeds in Woodhouse, England, on Sunday 28 June 2026 at 2:30 pm. The venue is available from 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm, and the event runs until 4:30 pm with an interval.
This open piano event welcomes players and audience members alike. Playing is optional, and non-pianists are welcome to attend and listen. It is intended as an opportunity to practise performing regardless of ability, experience, or musical style. Players are asked to aim for a single piece of no more than five minutes.
The University of Leeds music school has been an All-Steinway School since 2017, and the event will use a Steinway Model D piano in the concert hall plus a Steinway Model B in the adjoining Concert Hall Foyer / Clothworkers Bar. The University of Leeds is supporting the group through its community engagement programme. Tea, coffee, and other refreshments are included, and standard attendance is £10 for players or audience, payable in advance. Students and people on limited income can attend for £5 on request.
There is a multi-storey car park on site, along with other parking, and discounted parking for attendees will be available, with details confirmed nearer the date. For further information, attendees can contact organiser Ben Richards.
