Lagos Afro-Funk Collective ft Dele Sosimi takes place at The George IV, Chiswick, at 185 Chiswick High Road, London, W4 2DR on Wednesday, 11 November 2026 at 7:30 PM.
The evening features a full line-up led by Ed Emeka Keazor, with Dele Sosimi as a special guest. Dele Sosimi played keyboards with Fela’s Egypt 80 from 1979 to 1986, worked with Positive Force with Femi Kuti from 1986 to 1994, and later relocated to London, where he has released five studio albums. His credits also include musical consultant and keyboard player for the National Theatre production of Fela, The Musical in 2010.
The line-up also includes Yoann Julliard on drums, Jake Elkan on guitar, Mike Idowu on bass, and Ayo Odia on saxophone, with Ed Keazor on percussion and vocals. The performance will feature West African highlife, jazz funk and Afrobeat. Doors open at 6:30 PM. The show will be seated, with room to dance, and the venue has a full bar and food menu available at the pub.
