About This Event
Kiezsalon w/ Balladeste, Harry Gorski-Brown and Tristan Perich takes place at the Congregation of the Holy Spirit in Berlin on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 7:00 PM. The event is presented by Digital in Berlin at Perleberger Straße 36, 10559 Berlin.
The program features the debut of Glasgow-based bagpipe player Harry Gorski-Brown, London-based string duo Balladeste, and New York composer Tristan Perich. Gorski-Brown makes music and audiovisual work that often draws from traditional Scottish music, using voice, pipes, fiddle, and electronics. His album Durt Dronemaker After Dreamboats focuses on old Scottish Gaelic songs.
Balladeste is the duo of violinist Preetha Narayanan and cellist Tara Franks. Their work merges contemporary classical, Indian classical, baroque influences, and folk traditions. Tristan Perich’s compositions are inspired by the simplicity of maths, physics, and code, and he uses barebones computing to create music. In this performance, he will activate the church’s organ.
