About This Event
Join us for an evening with singer/songwriter Kamau Jones at Brooklyn Music Kitchen, located at 177 Vanderbilt Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205. This event is presented by InspiredWordNYC and will take place on April 19, 2026, at 3:30 PM. The cover charge is $15, which includes a 10% food and drink ticket. All ages are welcome to attend.
Kamau Jones is a musician from Queens who enjoys singing, rapping, and producing music. He began his musical journey at open mics in the fall of 2024 and released his first single, “I’m Broke,” in August. Kamau has been writing poetry since he was 7 years old and has played instruments and sung throughout his teenage years. This year marks his first experience working as a producer. In addition to his music career, he works in assisted living, where he enjoys helping others and occasionally performing for them. His goal is to make music his life and bring joy to people through his performances.
