About This Event
Hipper Than Hip takes the stage at Swabbies Restaurant & Bar in Sacramento on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 6:30 PM. The group performs music by iconic artists and horn bands including Tower of Power, Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Chicago, and more.
The ensemble is made up of some of Northern California’s finest musicians, with more than four decades of shared musical adventures, collaborations, and friendships. Their set includes industrial-strength funk, classic and modern R&B, and rock, along with stellar vocals, a powerful horn line, and a strong groove.
