The performance features Helado Negro, the project of Roberto Carlos Lange, a producer and singer-songwriter and the son of Ecuadoran immigrants, alongside Reyna Tropical, led by Fabi Reyna, a Mexican-born, Texas-raised activist and guitarist who founded She Shreds Magazine. Reyna Tropical’s work blends Afro-Indigenous drum beats, guitar riffs, and environmental samples.
The two artists are set to perform material connected to their collaborative album Helado Tropical, following its release. Opening set by Camilo y los Cruzers.
