Guy Davis & The Nerak Roth Patterson Band perform at Missy Sippy Blues & Roots Club, 16 Klein Turkije in Gent, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 8:30 PM. This clubshow marks Guy Davis’s first Benelux tour with a full American band in almost fifteen years.
The two-time Grammy nominee will be joined by drummer Tony Coleman, who played for many years with B. B. King; guitarist Nerak Roth Patterson, who has previously toured with Davis; and bassist Nerak Patterson Jr. It will be Davis’s fourth appearance at Missy Sippy.
Guy Davis is a musician, actor, author, and songwriter whose work includes blues, folk, roots, spoken word, and world music. Performing on guitar and banjo, he presents songs and stories about life and history, including “God’s Gonna Make Things Over,” a song about the 1921 Tulsa massacre.
Davis is the son of actors and civil rights activists Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee. He has received the Keeping The Blues Alive Award and has been nominated by The Blues Foundation in categories including Acoustic Artist, Instrumentalist, and Acoustic Album. The clubshow has both seated and standing places.
