Grass Roots starring ABNA (Live Jazz) takes place on Thursday 1 October 2026 at The CLF Art Lounge, 120 Peckham Hill Street, London, SE15 5JT. Presented by Soulsa ®, the monthly live music event is dedicated to supporting young and emerging London-based jazz artists.
For October, ABNA returns to Grass Roots. The trio features Jedd Bailey-Smith on double bass, Jasper Chin on saxophone, and Richie Sweet on drums and percussion. Their sound draws on a classic jazz setup while incorporating elements of afrobeat, hip-hop, dub and grime.
ABNA have previously appeared at the Royal Albert Hall, Jazz Re:freshed, We Out Here Festival, the Brick Lane Jazz Festival and the Grass Roots Jazz Festival. Doors open at 8:00 pm and live music starts at 9:00 pm. The venue is inside Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts on the ground floor next to the main entrance, behind Peckham Library and about a 10-minute walk from Peckham Rye station.
