About This Event
GET READY - 60s/70s Motown, Soul & Disco takes place at The Picturedrome, 222 Kettering Road, Northampton, NN1 4BN, on Friday 26 June 2026 from 8pm to midnight.
This Summer Special features a curated mix of 1960s and 1970s Motown, Soul and Disco, with DJs playing floorfillers from the era. The music list includes The Jacksons, Al Wilson, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, Rick James, Chic, Sister Sledge, The Temptations, James Brown, Diana Ross, The Supremes, The Marvelettes, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Ray Charles, and more.
The event is primarily standing and dancing, with a club atmosphere and limited seating available around the venue. Tickets start from £7. The dress code is smart casual, or attendees can dress for the era. This is a live DJ event rather than a live band.
