The concert features classical chamber music in support of Friendship Place, a Washington organization serving people experiencing homelessness. The program includes short chamber music selections performed by nationally acclaimed musicians, including NSO musicians Heather LeDoux Green, Carole Tafoya Evans, Ruth Wicker, and Mark Evans, joined by pianist Cecilia Cho from the Levine School of Music.
Works listed for the program include music by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Kodály, and Ravel. Cecilia Cho is a pianist on the faculty of the Levine School of Music, and the other featured performers are members of the National Symphony Orchestra.
