About This Event
Frequency Forest 2026 takes place at Maitland Showground in South Maitland, NSW, on 25, 26 and 27 September 2026. The three-day camping festival runs across two stages and is scheduled for a 5,000+ crowd. Tickets are on sale, with prices ranging from AUD 279 to AUD 349.
The Aria Stage features melodic techno and hard dance on the main oval, with big-room sound and international headliners running from the afternoon into the late hours. The Mandala Stage is set up in a more intimate space and features psy-tech and progressive psytrance, including sunrise sets and deeper programming.
Alongside the music, the site includes a full carnival ground with rides and sideshow alley, plus a public gate that is open to ticket holders and locals. Food vendors run through the central strip, and the event also includes licensed bars, a geodome chill space, on-site amenities, glamping, and motorhome bays. Maitland Showground is in the Hunter region, about two hours from Sydney and 30 minutes from Newcastle. Coach transfers from Sydney are planned, with more information to come.
