This live edition of the Vandal Factory podcast features poet Henry Raby and theatre-maker Natalie Quatermass, with discussion of the moments where art and activism meet. The event includes raw live music, performance poetry, conversations, and other surprises, along with special guests Farah Chamma and Draags.
Farah Chamma is a Palestinian poet and performer known for spoken-word work that combines orality, acting, and live music. She is also one half of the musical duo chamaeleon. Draags are a Leeds-based band whose sound combines queer punk, hardcore, hip-hop, prog, and dance, with theatrical vocals, screaming horns, and heavy groovy rhythms. Their lyrics focus on social justice, alienation, and dystopia in society.
