About This Event
Fantastic Voyage takes place at MoshPit in Erskineville on Sunday, 20 September 2026, from 4:00 pm. The event is at 642A King Street, Erskineville, NSW 2043, and tickets are priced from $10 AUD. It is an 18+ event organized by Jimmy Zhang.
The lineup features three bands with different takes on groove-driven music. Hologram Eye brings a mix of rock, funk, soul and alternative sounds, with punchy riffs and high-energy performance. Rock Paper Scissors is described as a group spanning generations and musical tastes, with big tunes, singalongs and surprises. Nomad's Pocket presents Sydney instrumental funk, blending old-school funk with modern grooves, jazz, soul, Afrobeat and progressive influences.
The program moves through funk, soul, R&B, rock and instrumental grooves, with inspiration drawn from the sounds and energy of the 1980s. The event is not presented as an 80s tribute night and does not follow a strict genre rule.
