Enjoyable Listens + Powdered Cows

Enjoyable Listens + Powdered Cows takes place at Bear Cave in Bournemouth on Thursday, 14 May 2026 at 7:00 pm. The show is presented by Pier and The Shindig, and features a pairing of touring act Enjoyable Listens and local band Powdered Cows.

Enjoyable Listens is the musical moniker of Oxfordshire artist Luke Duffett. The project has played gigs across the world, including New York City, and recently toured with Electric Six. Its songs draw on 1980s and 1990s indie sounds, with twangy, whirring guitars, drum beats, dead-pan humour, and observational lyrics. Singles include A Laugh and a Half, Dead Frozen, and Summer Hit.

Powdered Cows is a Bournemouth-based avant-garde indie duo made up of Martin Roberts and James Worrell. The pair have released recordings since the late 2000s, including early 4-track material such as Come Off Violence and albums such as Tres Vacas, which includes Your Holiday and Small Bananas.
