About This Event
Duo Ilya Gindin – Dimitri Illarionov takes place at PANDA platforma in Berlin on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 8:30 PM. The venue is located at Knaackstraße 97, in the small courtyard of the Kulturbrauerei.
Ilya Gindin plays clarinet and Dimitri Illarionov plays guitar. The two internationally profiled musicians present a program with works and arrangements drawn from classical music, Klezmer, jazz, folk, and contemporary music. The repertoire includes the first movement of Schubert’s Arpeggione Sonata in a version for clarinet and guitar, Béla Kovács’s Hommages for solo clarinet, a movement from a sonata by Felix Mendelssohn, jazz-inspired clarinet pieces by Alexander Zfasman, and a classical Jewish suite with works by Grzegorz Fitelberg and Jefim Wainberg.
The program also includes Mist Over The Lake by Jan Freidlin for duo and Trans-Siberian by Mathias Duplessy for solo guitar. The performance is presented in German and Russian.
