Dudemanbro is a reggae rock band from Narragansett, Rhode Island. The group released its first EP, Shifting Skies, in 2020, followed by the full-length album Beach Bum In Rhode Island in 2023 and the live album Live from the Rhode.
Professor Roots, based in Providence, performs ska, rocksteady, and reggae. The band formed in 2014 and later became an 8-piece collective with members playing harmonica, keys, drums, lead vocals, tenor and alto saxophones, bass guitar, and lead guitar. Professor Roots also began writing original songs and describes its music as authentic Jamaican music with a Rhode Island reggae flavor.
