Dub Apocalypse is an instrumental dub reggae band from Boston, MA. The group formed in 2007 and was led by drummer Tommy Benedetti and guitarist Johnny Trama. The band’s lineup includes Tommy Benedetti on drums, Van Martin on guitar, Johnny Trama on guitar, Aaron Bellamy on bass, and Timo Shanko on sax and bass.
Benedetti is one of the founding members of John Brown's Body and has recorded for Shanachie and Tzadik, with a mix by Bill Laswell. He is currently with John Brown's Body on Easy Star Records. His background includes nearly two decades of international touring and backing The Meditations and Justin Hinds.
