Downhill Jam, Powerflex 5, The Carveliners, Loose Trucks, and The Chapel appear at The Wayfarer in Costa Mesa, California, on Saturday, July 25 at 7:45 PM. The Wayfarer is located at 843 W. 19th Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92627.
Downhill Jam is a tribute to the music featured in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater video game series. Based in Los Angeles, the group performs punk, ska, and hip hop songs associated with the games, including tracks by Goldfinger, Lagwagon, Dead Kennedys, Public Enemy, Dub Pistols, Motörhead, and Millencolin.
The band has performed ramp-side while Tony Hawk skated at Wonderfont Fest 2019 in San Diego, and Tony Hawk has joined them onstage as a guest vocalist on multiple occasions, including performances of “Police Truck” and “Blitzkrieg Bop.” They have also appeared on Hawk’s podcast, Hawk Vs Wolf, co-hosted by Jason Ellis.
