Diana Cooper, Klavierabend takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 7:30 PM in the Spiegelsaal at Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg, Steintorplatz, 20099 Hamburg. The concert is organized by Chopin-Gesellschaft Hamburg und Sachsenwald e.V.
The program is performed on a Shigeru Kawai grand piano, Hamamatsu 2019, and includes works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Enrique Granados, and Frédéric Chopin. Beethoven’s Sonata in C major, Op. 2/3 is followed by Mendelssohn’s Variations sérieuses in D minor, Op. 54, and Granados’ Allegro de Concierto, Op. 46. After the interval, the recital continues with Chopin’s Barcarolle in F-sharp major, Op. 60 and his Sonata in B minor, Op. 58/3.

Ticket information includes a €5 discount for members of the Chopin Society. Reduced admission is available for pupils, students, and people in voluntary service with valid ID. People with disabilities pay the regular ticket price, and one accompanying person marked with note B on the disability ID is admitted free of charge.
