Der Šenster Gob is an acoustic band from Prague that plays Gypsy, Jewish, and other Eastern European folk music. Their repertoire ranges from old klezmer tunes to newer Gypsy trad-jazz songs and arrangements. The group performs with clarinet, saxophone, violin, guitar, and double bass.
The band has travelled across Europe and parts of Asia in a green wooden caravan, gathering musical inspiration, songs, and memories along the way. The lineup includes Matěj Heinzl on clarinet and saxophone, Martin Sochor on violin, Jan Vítů on guitar, and Vojtěch Vasko on double bass.
