Delta Wires is a blues band from the Oakland/San Francisco Bay Area known for harmonica and horns. The group has been inducted into the California Blues Hall of Fame and was named “Best Live Band” by Oakland Magazine and East Bay Express. They were also finalists at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee.
The band has released eight albums, including If Somebody Told Me… from 2024. Their performance history includes the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy, the SF Blues Festival, and the Monterey Bay Blues Festival, which they have appeared at eight times. Delta Wires has also shared the stage with Van Morrison, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Dr. John, The Doobie Brothers, Boz Scaggs, The Neville Bros, Freddie King, and Charlie Musselwhite.
