Dean Owens brings songs and stories from a 12-album career and a life on the road, along with material from his new album Spirit Ridge. The album was recorded at Crinale in Italy with producer Don Antonio, and follows his collaborations with Calexico. The songs are rooted in Scottish roots, Americana and desert noir, with references to Italy, the US desert states and post-industrial Scotland.
The Sinners perform with electric guitar, trumpet and double bass, alongside Dean Owens’ vocals. The event is unreserved seating, is 18+, and doors open at 7:30 pm. Carer and support companions are free, with a complimentary ticket available on request.
