Dax is a Canadian rapper and songwriter of Nigerian descent known for topic-driven music. His debut project, It's Different Now, was released in 2018 and featured collaborations with O.T. Genasis and Futuristic. He later released “She Cheated Again,” which has more than 20 million views on YouTube and 5 million streams on Spotify, and “Dear Alcohol,” a platinum-selling single with more than 90 million streams and RIAA Platinum certification in both the U.S. and Canada.
His catalog also includes “My Heart Hurts,” “I Need a Break,” “Gotham,” and “All Night Long.” Dax received his first televised performance at the Canadian Country Music Awards in 2021 and earned a JUNO nomination in 2023 for Breakout Artist of the Year.
