Dark Constellation Presents: Frenchy and the Punk w/ Ego Likeness Acoustic takes place at The Renegade VA in Arlington, Virginia on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 7:00 PM. The venue is located at 3100 Clarendon Boulevard, #PL-10, Arlington, VA 22201. The event is on sale, with tickets listed from $24.25, and it is open to ages 18+.
Frenchy and the Punk feature French-born singer, keyboardist, and percussionist Samantha Stephenson and guitarist Scott Helland. Stephenson’s background includes ballet, modern, hip hop, and sculpture, while Helland came up in the 1980s American hardcore punk scene. He was a founding member and bassist of Deep Wound, formed with J Mascis and Lou Barlow.
The duo has toured extensively, with nearly 1,500 shows across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and West Africa. Their 2024 full-length album, Midnight Garden, included “Hypnotized,” “Like In A Dream,” and the title track. A new single, “Not Under Your Spell,” was released on October 31, 2025, via Distortion Productions.
Ego Likeness is also scheduled to perform an acoustic set. The night opens with an intimate acoustic performance from the duo.
