Daniel Harris III is a trumpeter, bandleader, and recording artist from Stockton, California. His work spans Jazz, R&B, Funk, Neo-Soul, Hip-Hop, and Rap, and he began his professional career at age fifteen. He has performed alongside Terrace Martin, Stevie Wonder, and Isaiah Collier and the Chosen Few, and has also appeared at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and UCLA’s Jazz/Reggae Festival.
Harris is the founder and CEO of KnowMedium, an independent record label, publishing house, and creative company. His background also includes work as a producer and educator, along with mentoring students and developing new musicians. His honors include the Woody Herman Jazz Award, the inaugural California Alliance for Jazz Black Lives Matter Scholarship, and the Bay Area Jazz and Blues Young Artist Award.
A portion of proceeds goes to Just Jazz Foundation. The event is private, and tickets start at $35.98.
