Daniel Anderson & Heroic Dose w/ surprise guest takes place at Bird’s Nest Listening Room at 311 E Broad St in Dunn, NC, on April 24, 2026. The show starts at 7:00 PM, and doors open at 6:00 PM.
Daniel Anderson grew up in rural North Carolina and was influenced by blues, gospel, country, and hip-hop. He began playing guitar at a young age, later developing a strong connection to slide guitar after a chance encounter with Derek Trucks in 2003. His work has included touring, teaching, local performances, and collaborations with multiple North Carolina artists.
Daniel Anderson and Heroic Dose formed in 2022. The group blends Daniel Anderson’s blues influences with psychedelia, roots-rock, and jam-oriented improvisation. Their debut studio single, Stuck With Trouble, is available on major streaming platforms.
Bird’s Nest Listening Room asks ticket holders to follow its “Shhh…listen” policy during performances. Loud conversations are not allowed while artists are performing, and disrespect may result in a gentle warning and then removal if it continues. Tickets are nonrefundable unless the show is cancelled.
