About This Event
Dancehall Warm up! 1v1 Battle & Social Dance at Section 8 takes place on Sunday, 20 September 2026, from 6 pm to 11 pm at Section 8, 27-29 Tattersalls Lane, Melbourne, VIC 3000. Jungle City and Fulla Vybz are inviting dancers, Dancehall lovers, and partygoers to a Dancehall warm-up event ahead of the season and the upcoming Aus Dancehall Dance Comp – Naarm Prelims on Saturday, 26 September.
The event includes a 1v1 battle and social dance, with registration open from 6 pm to 7 pm and the battle kicking off at 7:30 pm. The crowd will decide the winner, who takes home $100 cash and a Jungle City prize pack. It is a free event at Section 8.
DJ selections for the night include Housewife’s Choice for the early segment, Antagonize for the battle, DJ Daphne for the social dance, and Amadeus closing out the party.
