About This Event
Command The Mic Showcase takes place on Friday, 24 April 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Michael Crouch Innovation Centre in Kensington, NSW. The event is part of the Command The Mic series and is presented by UNSW Founders Program.
After seven weeks of mastering your pitch, participants step into the spotlight to put their skills into action in front of a live audience and judges. The showcase includes timed pitches under real-world conditions, live judging with actionable feedback, an audience Q&A, and real-time pressure designed to simulate investor meetings.
Skills assessed include clear messaging, persuasive storytelling, confident delivery, and handling pressure. UNSW Founders also notes that by registering for the event, attendees grant permission for images and video footage to be used for publicity and education purposes, unless they inform an event organiser that they do not wish to be photographed.
