About This Event
Claus Hessler – Drum Clinic takes place on Monday, 17 August 2026 at 7:30 pm at 4/2181 Princes Hwy in Clayton, VIC. The clinic is being presented by Mapex Australia and is one of only three clinics nationwide in Australia.
Claus Hessler is a German drum educator and clinician known for his work on the Moeller Technique and modern rudimental drumming. His background includes touring and recording with musicians such as Mike Stern and the New York Voices, along with multiple nominations for Best Educator/Clinician by Modern Drummer magazine.
The clinic includes more than one hour of performance and featured solo drumming, followed by a 45-minute instructional session, open workshop, and Q&A. Ticket holders will receive a free pair of Promark drumsticks on entry and will go into the draw to win a Mapex Black Panther Heritage Snare drum, with the winner drawn on the night.
