About This Event
Caribbean Dance Musicality takes place on Tuesday, October 6 at 9:00 PM at UNIT3 STUDIOS, 1-3 Brixton Road, Unit 3, Ground Floor, London, SW9 6DE.
Dance instructor Carib will demonstrate variations of West Indian folk and traditional dance, including Punta and Kumina. The workshop explores musicality, waistline movement, groundwork, and the connection between sound and rhythm, with dance elements including whining, twerking, and footwork.
The session includes a 30-minute warm-up and a breakdown of the material covered in the workshop. New techniques and levels are introduced each week. All levels are welcome.
