About This Event
Camerata Gala takes place at the Stanthorpe Civic Centre on Saturday, 24 October 2026 at 7:00 pm, with Camerata - Queensland's Chamber Orchestra appearing in Stanthorpe, QLD for the first time outside Brisbane in its full 35-piece ensemble.
The program opens with Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro Overture, followed by a new work from Camerata’s Emerging Composer-in-Residence, Imogen Ferdinando. Ferdinando’s piece is inspired by the Queensland shire of Balonne.
The concert concludes with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. The event is presented at Stanthorpe Civic Centre, 61 Marsh Street, Stanthorpe, QLD 4380.
