BOOTS CORNER by Paul Moore is set at Victoria Halls Helensburgh on Sinclair Street in Helensburgh, Argyll and Bute. The performance begins on Saturday, 3 October 2026 at 7:30 PM.
This production is set in Glasgow in 1975, where young lovers meet at Boots Corner for dates, trips to the dancehall, and Saturday nights at the pictures. It follows Linda, Una and Viv as they make their way through dodgy dates and “sassy shenanigans,” with a soundtrack of 1970s glam rock and pop that includes T. Rex, Slade, Elton John and ABBA.
The show is from the writer and director of The Provy Wummin. Audience comments quoted with the production mention Glasgow banter, classic songs, dancing, laughter and nostalgia. Under-16s must attend with a guardian.
