The bill features a rare UK headline set from US duo Blu & Exile. Their 2007 debut Below the Heavens was released on 17 July 2007 and is described as a soul-soaked, sample-driven record built around Blu’s reflections on faith, doubt, love, frustration, and ambition over Exile’s warm, golden-era-inspired production. The release was limited to 3,000 physical copies and leaked online before release.
Also performing is LFay, a lyricist and vocalist from Norfolk whose work draws on Old School Hip Hop and Urban Jazz, with influences including Amy Winehouse, Little Simz, Etta James, MF Doom, and Notorious B.I.G. Chrome, a Norwich-based DJ, MC, and producer, is also on the bill. He has released music on labels including Ninja Tune, Jalapeño Records, ae productions, B Line Recordings, and Naked Ape, and has supported artists including A Tribe called Quest, De La Soul, Public Enemy, M.O.P., Pharcyde, Grandmaster Flash, DJ Premier, Craig Charles, and Huey Morgan.
