Bim Skala Bim formed in Boston, MA as a ska rock band influenced by England’s 2 Tone movement, as well as The Clash, UB40, and Bob Marley. The group was one of the bands that helped start the Third Wave of Ska in the 1980s and released its self-titled debut album in 1986. Over the years, the band has toured with ska artists, won Boston Music Awards, and released its 12th album, Sonic Tonic, in 2021.
The Agents are a Rhode Island-based ska band formed in 1993. Their sound includes ska, reggae, and rocksteady, with a horn section and driving rhythms. The band has shared stages with ska legends and local acts across the New England music scene.
