BellSonance Productions presents BellSonance: French Jazz & Argentine Tango | Music of Piazzolla & Bolling on Saturday, 29 August 2026 at 3:15 PM at Kenmore Uniting Church, 982 Moggill Road, Kenmore, QLD 4069.
This afternoon concert features music inspired by French jazz and Argentine tango, with works by Astor Piazzolla and Claude Bolling. The program includes music associated with Piazzolla, known for Argentine tango, and Bolling, whose compositions blend classical and jazz styles.
Performed by an ensemble of young Australian musicians, the concert includes Artemii Safonov on accordion, soprano, flute and piano; Amalia Safonova on soprano, flute and piano; Emily Thompson on violin; Oliver Murphy on double bass; Joel Sanchez on guitar; and Fred Re on percussion. The performance runs for approximately 90 minutes, including interval.
