About This Event
Beats & Blankets: HBCU Block Party takes place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Omegas of Charlotte, 3301 Statesville Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28206. The event is organized by Queen City Omegas and is scheduled as a 21+ gathering.
The afternoon includes music by DJ Kayoh and DJ CP The Peoples Champ, along with food, vendors, games, frozen treats, and designated space for tents. The event will take over the front parking lot of the fraternity house, with outdoor seating items such as lawn chairs and blankets allowed.
Attendees may bring their own cooler, tent, lawn chairs, and blankets. The guidelines state that no children are permitted, no outside alcohol is allowed inside the fraternity house, and all alcoholic beverages must remain outside in the event area or parking lot. No outside speakers or DJ equipment are allowed, and security will be on site throughout the event.
