About This Event
Beat Sessions takes place at Spokesman - South in Austin on Monday, August 31, 2026 at 7:00 PM. The event is hosted by Spokesman and organized by Hail Mary Productions.
This monthly live-art battle uses a competitive timed format, with artists pitted against each other and no judges. Attendees can vote for their favorite artist by cash or Venmo during the battle, with $1 counting as one vote. The artist or team with the most votes wins.
Doors open at 7:00 PM and the battle starts at 8:00 PM. DJs Tio ABE, No KId$, Mister E, and MC Dee Green are scheduled during the event. A limited edition tee will be available for $20, with $5 from each shirt going back to the artist and also counting as a vote. The tees are printed on site, and guests are encouraged to arrive early before they sell out.
This event is free and all ages. Pets are welcome on the patio but not allowed inside.
