About This Event
BD Lenz Jazz Trio & John Altman takes place at The Paxton Centre in Crystal Palace, London, on Saturday, 18 July 2026 at 7:00 PM. Entry is free, with donations collected on the night, and seats can be reserved by registering in advance.
The evening features B.D. Lenz on guitar with James Rosocha on bass and Joe Falcey on drums. The trio will play a mix of jazz standards, original jams, and pop classics. B.D. Lenz is a New Jersey/New York–based guitarist who has released ten CDs and has music featured on hundreds of TV shows around the world.
Special guest John Altman joins the performance. Altman is a saxophonist, composer, and arranger who has worked with artists including Diana Ross, George Michael, Goldie, Bjork, Rod Stewart, Tom Jones, and Tina Turner. He has also received BAFTA and EMMY awards, a Gold Badge of Excellence from The British Academy of Songwriters & Composers, a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Monaco Film Festival, and an honorary Doctorate of Music from the University of Sussex.
