Badfish is a Rhode Island-based tribute band that has spent nearly 25 years performing the music of Sublime, the California group known for bringing ska-punk and reggae-rock into the mainstream. The lineup includes Joel Hanks on bass, Scott Begin on drums, Pat Downes on vocals and guitar, and Danny Torgersen on horns, keyboards, and guitars.
The band has released original material alongside its Sublime tribute set, including the songs “High With You” and “F You Pay Me,” the latter featuring Grieves. Their performances have included theater headlining shows and sold-out dates, with the band playing 15 to 20 gigs a month.
