About This Event
¡Arriba! takes place on the High Line at 14th Street in Chelsea, New York, on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 6:00 PM. The free program features live salsa from Lulada Club, dance instruction from Nieves Latin Dance Studio, and music by DJ Mickey Pérez.
The schedule begins with a salsa set by DJ Mickey Pérez from 6:00 to 6:15 PM, followed by salsa lessons from Nieves Latin Dance Studio from 6:15 to 6:45 PM. DJ Mickey Pérez returns with another salsa set from 6:45 to 7:00 PM, then Lulada Club performs live from 7:00 to 8:15 PM. The evening closes with an Afro-Cuban Son and salsa set by DJ Mickey Pérez from 8:15 to 9:00 PM.
This intergenerational program is free and open to all ages. Advance registration is encouraged, and walk-ups are welcome if the event is not at capacity. It is rain or shine, and the event space is fully covered. Program venues are accessible via wheelchair, and ASL interpretation can be arranged two weeks in advance.
